Low-Point Cheesy Baked Cabbage Steaks
Servings: 3
Points: ~1–2 WW points per serving (depending on cheese)
🛒 Ingredients:
- 1 medium green cabbage
- 1 tsp olive oil (optional, for roasting)
- Salt & black pepper
- Garlic powder (or fresh minced garlic)
- Paprika (optional)
- ½ cup fat-free shredded mozzarella (0 points)

- Fresh parsley (optional garnish)
👩🍳 Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Slice cabbage into thick “steaks” (about 2–3 cm thick). Keep the core intact so they hold together.

Lightly brush or spray with oil (or skip for 0-point base). - Season with:
- Salt
- Pepper
- Garlic powder
- Paprika
- Roast for 20–25 minutes, until slightly tender and edges start browning.
- Remove from oven and top each steak with:
- Fat-free mozzarella
- A little Parmesan
- Return to oven for 10–15 more minutes until cheese is melted and golden.
- Garnish with parsley and serve warm ✨
🔥 Tips for Lowest Points:
- Use only fat-free mozzarella → 0 points
- Skip oil → saves points
- Add flavor with spices, garlic, chili flakes instead of extra cheese
💛 Flavor Boost Ideas (still low-point):
- Add a thin layer of sugar-free marinara under the cheese
- Sprinkle with nutritional yeast for extra cheesy taste
- Add crushed red pepper for a spicy version
