1 DIY Store-Style Apple Snack Packs (WW Friendly)

 Ingredients

  • Fresh apples (any variety)
  • Cold water
  • Lemon-lime soda (Sprite or 7-Up)

 Lower-Point Option (Recommended)

  • Diet lemon-lime soda or
  • 1–2 tbsp lemon juice in water

 Instructions

  1. Slice apples into thin wedges.
  2. Soak in cold water for 3–5 minutes.
  3. Drain.
  4. Soak slices in lemon-lime soda (or diet version) for 3–5 minutes.
  5. Drain lightly.
  6. Divide into snack-size portions.
  7. Store in Ziploc bags in the fridge.

They stay fresh and bright much longer without browning.


 Why This Works

The citrus + carbonation helps slow oxidation (that browning effect).
Using diet soda keeps it zero points and still works great.

2 Zero Point Ww Roasted Crispy Chickpeas Snack

ngredients

  • 2 cans (15 oz each) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

 Ingredients (WW Adjusted)

  • ¾ cup almond flour
  • ⅓ cup finely chopped pecans
  • 3 tbsp powdered monk fruit or erythritol
  • 3 tbsp light butter, softened
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 tbsp powdered monk fruit/erythritol (for rolling)

 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Toast chopped pecans for 5–7 minutes, just until fragrant. Cool.
  3. In a bowl, mix almond flour, toasted pecans, powdered sweetener, butter, vanilla, and salt until a soft dough forms.
  4. Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 12–15 minutes, until set and lightly golden on the bottom.
  6. Let cool for 5 minutes, then gently roll in powdered sweetener.
  7. Cool completely before serving — they firm up as they sit.
