WW Hatch Chile Relleno Grilled Cheese

Points: 3–4 WW points (depends on bread & cheese choices)
Ingredients
- 2 slices 647 bread (or other low-point light bread)
- 1 large Hatch green chile, roasted & peeled
- 2 slices fat-free American cheese
- 1 tbsp fat-free shredded mozzarella (optional but adds melt)
- Cooking spray
- Pinch garlic powder (optional)
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Lightly spray a nonstick skillet and heat over medium-low.
- Lay down one slice of bread. Add fat-free cheese slices.
- Place the roasted Hatch chile on top (pat dry so it’s not watery).
- Sprinkle mozzarella and seasoning if using.
- Top with second slice of bread.
- Cook slowly, flipping once, until bread is golden and cheese is melted.
