WW-Friendly Four-Ingredient Nougat Bars

These chewy, colorful bars are a holiday favorite—but with this lighter version, you can enjoy a sweet treat without overdoing it on points. Great for gatherings, gift trays, or when you’re craving something nostalgic and gooey.

Makes about 24 bars

 3–4 WW Points per bar (depending on brand and portion size – see notes below)


 Ingredients:

Mini marshmallows2 cups (or 1 bag, 10 oz)
Light butter or margarine1 tbsp
White chocolate chips (reduced-sugar if available)1 cup (about 6 oz)
Red & green gumdrops (chopped)¾ cup total

 Directions:

1. Melt the Marshmallows

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, add the mini marshmallows and butter.
  • Microwave on high for 60–90 seconds, just until marshmallows puff up.
  • Stir until smooth and melted.

2. Melt the White Chocolate

  • In another microwave-safe bowl, heat the white chocolate chips in 30-second intervals.
  • Stir between each burst until fully melted and silky.

3. Combine

  • Pour the melted white chocolate into the marshmallow mix.
  • Stir quickly to combine (mixture will be thick and sticky).

4. Add the Gumdrops

  • Fold in chopped gumdrops. Spread the candy throughout the mixture for even color and texture.

5. Shape the Bars

  • Line a loaf pan or 8×8 pan with parchment paper.
  • Press the mixture evenly into the pan with a spatula or damp hands.

6. Chill

  • Refrigerate for 1–2 hours or until firm.

7. Slice and Serve

  • Remove from the pan, cut into 24 squares or rectangles.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temp or in the fridge.
