this recipe for easy kimchi is an easy to make and a great snack or perfect to add to rice bowls or soup. It includes daikon radish and it is a zero weight watchers point food!
Ingredients
- 1 napa cabbage
- 1/4 cup sea salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1- inch ginger
- 2 tbsp fish sauce
- 3 tbsp gochugaru Korean chili flakes
- 4 green onions chopped
- 1 large daikon radish julienned
Instructions
- Chop cabbage and soak in salt water. toss with salt. Let it sit 1–2 hrs, the rinse. Blend garlic, ginger, sugar, and fish sauce into a paste.
- Mix paste with gochugaru, green onions, and radish.
- Combine with cabbage. Pack into a clean jar.
- Leave at room temp 2–5 days.
- Taste daily. Once tangy, refrigerate + enjoy!
