1 point Enjoy cheesy jalapeno poppers – a healthy, tasty twist on this classic party finger-food. The filling is creamy and rich; the outside’s crunchy and crisp. This version is air fried and not deep-fried, which is better for you and less messy.

Ingredients

  • 4 jalapeno laughing cow cheese wedges
  • 24 slices of jalepeno pepper in a jar
  • 1 packet of extra crispy Shake N Bake
  • I added spicy ranch seasoning to my shake n bake
  • 1 egg
  • Reduced fat cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the cheese, cream cheese; mix well and set aside. Halve the peppers lengthwise and remove the seeds; fill the peppers with the cheese mixture. (Oil and seeds from this e peppers can be irritating—keep your fingers away from your eyes.)
  2. Place the beaten egg in a shallow dish. Place the shake n bake in a separate shallow dish. Dip the stuffed peppers into the beaten egg and then roll them in the shake and bake crumbs to coat.
  3. Transfer the peppers to the pair fryer then coat with cooking spray.
  4. Air fryer on 400, 6 mins each side, total of 12 mins.
