Low-Point Weight Watchers Cheesy Garlic Toast

Points: about 1โ€“2 points per slice (depending on bread)

Ingredients (8 slices)

  • 8 slices light bread (around 35โ€“45 calories each)
  • ยฝ cup fat-free shredded mozzarella
  • 2 tbsp light cream cheese (softened)
  • 2 tbsp non-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ยฝ tsp onion powder
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • Optional: pinch Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC).
  2. Line a baking sheet and place the bread slices on it.
  3. In a bowl mix:
    • light cream cheese
    • Greek yogurt
    • garlic powder
    • onion powder
    • salt & pepper
  4. Spread the mixture evenly over each slice.
  5. Sprinkle fat-free mozzarella on top.
  6. Bake 8โ€“10 minutes until the cheese melts and the edges get golden.
  7. Broil 1โ€“2 minutes for that bubbly toasted top like in the photo.
  8. Finish with a sprinkle of black pepper.
