Ingredients
- 1 lb (450 g) 96–99% lean ground beef or extra-lean ground turkey
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 2 green bell peppers, sliced
- 1 mushroom cup (optional), sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp salt, ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika (optional)
Light creamy topping
- 1 cup non-fat plain Greek yogurt
- ½ cup fat-free cottage cheese
- ½ cup reduced-fat shredded mozzarella (or fat-free if available)
- 1 egg (helps it set — optional but recommended)
- Pinch salt + pepper
👉 Blend or whisk the topping so it’s smooth.

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F / 190°C. Spray a baking dish with cooking spray.
- In a skillet, cook the lean beef/turkey until browned. Drain any liquid.
- Add onion, peppers, mushrooms, garlic and cook until softened.
- Stir in Worcestershire, salt, pepper, paprika. Simmer 2–3 minutes.
- Spread meat + veggie mixture evenly in the baking dish.
- Pour the Greek-yogurt cheese topping over the top and spread.
- Bake 20–25 minutes, until set and lightly golden.
- Let rest 5 minutes, then slice into 6 portions.
