No Bake Peppermint Patties

Ingredients

  • 1 stick of butter softened
  • 2/3 cup corn syrup
  • 6 cups powered sugar
  • 4 tsp peppermint extract
  • Nestle Dark chocolate with a drop of veg oil after it’s melted

Instructions

  1. Use mixer until starts to form. Turn out to counter and knead until nice and smooth.
  2. I used about two teaspoon sized pieces, rolled then flattened onto wax paper lined cookie sheet. Freeze for about 15-20 minutes.
  3. Dip in dark chocolate and let set. I use Nestle Dark with a drop of veg oil after melted. As far as dipping, the colder the disks are the better because they soften quick in the warm chocolate. I use two forks. Drop the disk into chocolate, flip it quick, scoop up with one fork and use the other to scrape of excess chocolate on top and bottom before sliding it onto wax paper to set
  4. One batch has white chocolate drizzle but honestly not necessary. Another are plain!

Recipe Notes

once they are done they can stay in a cool place in the container or in a container in the fridge. They last for quite a while definitely, these will go till Christmas.
